"Ahh she's a sweetheart, she's been loved, and also looked after. She just needs to find love again!"
Aimee is a 1940's English Teddy Bear made by Deans Ragbook. She measures around 31 inches when laid out, so is a large bear which is rather rare for Deans. She is stuffed with woodwool and kapok, has jointed legs, one well jointed arm and the other is very very stiff .. i don't think Aimee has been given many paw shakes lately! Aimee was designed with a none jointed head, without pads, and is covered in cotton wool plush - these are typical characteristics on post war time teddies where they may not have had easy access to lots of materials.
She retains both her original Deans eyes with their felt backing, original claw and facial stitching, she also has a very quiet growler located high in her chest. She's had a cuddles so this has made her a bit more saggy, so if desired she could have some stuffing added - but as Aimee current stands she is all original!
She in dressed in a very old pretty cotton dress which she came with, and is shown here with her bear-st friend Wilf - who she used to live with, and as they both date to the 1940's this could have been for quite some time! (Wilf is also available for adoption and listed separately).
